Dear All, Can anyone help me on MIS- based in the HR field.............. How should I prepare the HRMIS in Ms- Excel PLS HELP!!! Thanks

Hi Supriya...

As you require the MIS Excel sheet, it would be better if you prepare the

same at your end.Because it will help you to prepare other such formats too.

I am describing you the contents with sheet wise..

First Sheet-

Details of employee

a. E.Code b. Name of employee

c. Date of birth d. Designation e. CTC f. Address for communication

g.Permanent address h. Contact number i. Blood group j. Maximum qualification k. Extra qualification l.Total Experience

Second Sheet-

Salary structure

In this sheet write down the complete salary structure.. and make a column what is salary after any revision

Third Sheet -

New Joinees

In this sheet write down the name of New joinees of that month with detail




DOB n etc.

Forth Sheet -

Resigned employees

In this sheet write the name of employees who resigned during

that particular month with details like name, designation, date of joining,

Date of resignation, last working day.

Fifth sheet -

Attrition rate

Actually I am already maintaining the excel sheets u are talking about..I wjust wanted to know,whether there are some special MIS reports prepared - so that we canjust know..that what actually took place in the HR in a particular month......

If ur company is S/W, the following is applicable :
Sheet 1 - Empooyee details - currently in role
Sheet 2- Employee details - resigned
Sheet 3 - Emp details who travelled to onsite ( long term )
Sheet 4 - Employees who come to India from Onsite
Sheet 5 - Consoldate list of the exisiting employees

Hi, With the pivot table you can do the MIS. 1) First Sheet Total MOR 2) Gradewise MOR 3) Recruitment Detail 4) Attrition 5) Training 6) HR Update

Hello Anita,
The MIS report will vary from company to company depending on the direction the senior management wants to move. You have to sit with the main decision makers in your company, understand the business well and in which direction you are moving. Based on these, you will then have to see what information HR can provide which will help the managment in taking decisions with respect to the direction they are moving. Try not to focus on the employee strength or size of the company.
