Dear,
I am also interested to go abroad for further study and earning.
I think UK is not a good option as they are very strict for student visas.
You can plan for Australlia or Canada.
If you are intersted pls. let me know.
Thanks

What do you mean by mixed reviews? If you say what advice you have been getting, I can assist you. Please also give details of the course you want to pursue.
Have a nice day.

Sir, Simhan
I want to pursue General MBA and the university which they are suggesting is all above 40 in ranking but if I go for Master then the university ranking are below 40 in which i think much better university then above 40.
Some people are telling me it after coming back from UK you have to start your career with scratch that means it doest not have value in India. But my senior who has done CS course from UK he is saying that you should go there and peruse the degree, and the person who gone there and done master course is saying that its not worth you have to start from scratch.
If you required I can give you the list of university they have suggested.
Please give me your suggestion as you are the senior most and experience person.
Thanking You

Dear Harshi,
Why do you want to do a degree in UK spending a lot of money, if your intention is to return to India?
Stratchclyde, Glasgow, and Salford are pre1992 universities, the others are post 1992 universities. The old polytechnics (Like Middlesex and Leeds Metropolitan) were conducting Post Graduate Management courses even before becoming a uni. For example, I did my Post Grad Dip in Mgt Studies (DMS) from Manchester Polytechic (Now Manchester Metropolitan University), in 1970. Three-year part-time course gave only a DMS; now, the same amount of time spent leads to an MBA as it has bcome a university.
Old universities are well known and, I am sure, courses from those will be accepted by MNC's in India.
Have a nice day.
