hey,
i have completed my mba in 2010 and b4 that i graduated in B.Sc.IT. My family is financially quite well settled and i am from small town area. I was not allowed to do job 1year back as mostly i used to b out of home only during my academic sessions in IT and Mba projects; so being a female, my parents wanted me to learn to manage home first for atleast 1year and then get into outside world and job management.
Now after 1 year when i am applying for jobs, the first thing they ask is "what have you done for 1year?"
What should be my answer??? as i dont want to get into any fake experience certificates n all.
Please Help....

Hello cute_universe,
I don't understand your hesitation in giving the ACTUAL reason during the interviews.
Or if you don't wish to give it, you can say that you had some personal/family issues to be resolved @ home and now that those issues are resolved, you are ready to take up a job. In a way, you will also be indirectly conveying that your focus in the job, if selected, will be TOTAL.
But pl remember that you will be treated as a FRESHER with the appropriate salary structure.
But NEVER try to lie/bluff, since you will end up telling a second one to cover the first lie & then a third to cover the second....and so on.
All the Best.

Dear, I totally agree with tajsateesh you can kindly tell that due to some personal reason you were not able to do the job but be sure that you must have one solid reason also.

Hey If you really wanna get the solution of your this problem, i have a best idea for you but you need to follow this sincerely...so are you ready for it???

But first i wanna ask you a question...you said that yourfamily is financially quite well settled but why you have used this that you are from small town area...is that really mattr..Priyanka Chopra and many fams actrs, and many sucsful business ladies are from small town and got a respective and big place in our socity today..i dont wanna use the name of theem but well my main motive is to say that you dont need to say here that you are fro small town area which is not matr and if im not wrong your parents are well educated...so!!!

Now I want you to do the same what your parents wanted you to do and stop thinking to much about you and your career for atleast few days. Just do what they are saying...and you know why im saying this??? See you also know that you have spent your most of time outside and you are a female child of your parents..they also wanted to spent sometime with you and worried about you...few years ago you were not what you are today and you turned major .....you are now an educated and young child ...being a female your parents want you to learn to manage home bcz they are worrid about your future and you need to see the things by their end..you must understand thm first ..

Next is that you have to spend your time with ur parents as much as you can, let them understand you what you want in your future and what are your aims/motives of life...let them feel what you feel about them and about your future first...See as every child you love your parents most and dont wanna hurt them....but give them a chance ateast, respect their decision and im sure after few days they will understand you ...and your objectives..

Now about your fake certificate problem... so i wanna ask you a question that you really think that you can get the job with these fake certificates and they cant ever get the reality and what will you do when they will reach this reality...Hey you have degree, you can start as a fresher but have to be confident, enthstc, matured and honest..im sure you can give a new start to your life....dont worry and when you will attend interview in future and the recruiter ask you about your this 1 year, just let them know the actual reason...but need to let them know that you are here to achieve some goal and objective that you have in your life and you are confident that you'll do that soon...im sure ...your this answer will strk thm and give you a positive reaction by them.

Also i wanna say here that how our parents can get the things and understand us and what we want until we'll give them a chance to know that..and for this we have to spend our time with them as much as we can......i dont know whether im wrong or right but yes i can say that you'l definitly get the solution of your problem soon but you have to do this....
