Dear HR members,

I have 2 years 6 months exp in HR field - recruitments,(One year)Backend operations(Background verification firm) & then a manufacturing firm on contractual basis as Generalist profile(T & D ,ISO 22000 Certification phase).

I am looking for a job for the last 6 months.i have given the interviews.but they told me -we will get back to you or the position has been put on hold for sometime & take couple of weeks & soon.
i am unable to understand------ where i am doing wrong ............i want the feedback whether its positive or negative. Even though,salary is not a big issue for me...i want to be in HR domain.

Any suggestions -How one can came to know abt his/her feedback in interviews?

In my case,everything goes smooth...........mean cleared 1st & iind round & final but at the end they told me ok...........we will get back to you.... this happen with me recently (Company is a big brand itself)
Why they call us & put us in a dilemma which is neither a practical approach.

Any Suggestions & Guidance is welcome.

Hello Aashi,
You have only mentioned your 'observations' of the various interviews--NOT your performances, at least in general, or the types of positions you are attending interviews for.
I can view 3 factors--pl note that any or all of them may apply to you [and also there could be totally other factors]:
1] You have a mixed exp profile in a short span of 2.5 yrs. Depending on which type of openings you are applying for, this could become an ASSET or a DISADVANTAGE.
2] You need to analyse on the RELATIVE performances between the I, II & the Final round of interviews--you will be the best judge for this. Obviously, there's a difference somewhere--your job is to analyse & zero-in on the right reason(s) and then go about resolving it/them.
3] Maybe you are shooting @ the wrong tree? You mentioned in this posting that you want HR domain & stressed this aspect [whether knowingly or unknowingly] during the interviews also....BUT maybe you are more better suited for a different domain? When the Interviewer realises you aren't interested in the domain you 'seem' to be good at, but more interested in a domain you MAY NOT really fit-in, you are being dropped? The only way to resolve this aspect is for you to do a SWOT analysis of yourself--being in HR, you know what this means/entails.

Dear Sir,
I have been called for HR -Generalist profile all the times & my performance is good everytime becoz the response in first & second round are positive but at the end answer is like i have mentioned in my previous post & your observations may be right but when resume is shortlisted by them & they called us for interviews......can't they understand what kind of people they are looking for??
Also,i have started my career as resouce exe. & then move to a background screening firm & co. was overtaken & after that got a chance to work in Generalist profile on contractual basis............Where is my fault?
Everybody wants to grow his/her skills & if i do.......whats the harm??
I think its unethical to fake something & i am true to my words & presenting the work in which i have the expertise.......... faking nothing......What one should do..........
