Dear HR members ,

It si pathetic that he has thrown resign letter may be grievances occured in the workpalce . May be they were ready to listen his point of story or the organisation may be more burecratic style and deep structured one . Let me share my experience . I was loyal to graganisation and i established a kind of professional environment after removing all Inter offic ememo and introduced e mail concepts fro our daily communciation . and lot of other changes . The director in teh compnay (XXXX) who leads purchase always favours suppliers and makes subordinates to issue orders on high price and i had to attache all supplier for his family and i had to even coolect money for his son college fucnction . One day i was claled by him and since this is private organisation i cant contine any long and without reason forced me to resgn. Reason he was caught in one scandal and police arrested the supplier as he was receiving cheques in fae name instead of his prinicples . This director has guided him for his better benefits . Hd i known more i would have exposed . but he afraid and he asked me to quit . having colpleted 4 years and 9 months m i lost my garutity . I dont have any help . still he spoils my employment opporrtunities every time . He is very unprofessional and every one in the organisation knows . how can i rectify my career mistakes of working the concern and can i remove the eperiience from the unethicla organiasation so as to keep my pride . i dont know so far what to do . like this i can understand so many people life at stake , because of HR is still being by stander approach and they are least bothered abt the process .

Thanks

Dear Manick ,

Its heartening to read what happened with you. Its not very uncommon, so remember you are not alone! Honestly, I am thankful to God, that you are no longer working for them. You have rest of the life to save.

Back ground verification is the area that you need to work out. No matter how much you explain, that fact that you survived there for four years, its obvious for new employers to jump the gun.

Please connect through your mentors and other leaders, who can vouch for your innocence and refer you a job. Being referred is the best way out for you.

I am not sure, how open would you be to an advance level study. This can be your next solution. If you re-skill yourself for a completely new job, your past experience would drop down to nil. So whether you are experienced or not, your new employer would barely care.

Try changing your location. Shift to a new place for a while and work far away from the former employer. Often , if you are in Punjab and you shift to Chennai for a job, your new employer would hardly value your ex-employer's word.

Suggest you to combine the two and shift through referals.

Every night has a day. If you have been through this, take my words, you are already out of the woods !!!!

Wish you all the best!

Regards,

Dear Nabomitha ,

Wonderful suggestions and best eye opener. Hope yoy are the best HR person or best manager u are converting to improve ypurself . My heartiest congrats to you and my wishes to your family members .
You have studied deep even i could not study myself and corrcet the things .In nut shell u have conveyed to stay away from evil and keep moving .Yes i am moving to UK as my wife as IT architect to land there in UK for 1 year . The present one i work is the world best one and have good human relations headed by Rghavendra Rao - ORCHID Pharma - the latest Badmashree award winner . Even though i have attached myself emotionally to this organisation , my earlier experience with the private organisation haunting me as the term" private " used to remove me . I started my career with public sector , however i changed it later to private to learn and keep more myself available in market to earn . However the value of loyal is question mark which makes me to think are we in right path . are all indian enteroreneurs are compromising human values and other basic values by exploiting human resources . It is very pathetic HR not playing any role in the burecratic organisations . who will audit them and who will do counter check for the best utilisation of human power in a right way .

Thanks for your nice advice .Hope we can discuss .

With kindest Regards

Hello,

Your story is pitiful!

Is your concerned boss alone responsible?

Is the organizational responsible in maintaining people of such habits in high places?

Are you responsible?

You may not agree with or like what I am going to say, but in calamities like this, one should hold himself primarily responsible for the fate/consequences that befall me! The questions that should asked to own self are, why was I off guard? Why did I not see what MAY be coming to me? Why did I lack anticipation of the evil?

No, it is not wrong to trust, to be good, to be unsuspectng...but all only upto a point!

In your case you seem to have walked the slippery path all the way.

But we must LEARN from each such experience. We must NOT ever commit the same mistake in life if we wish to achieve progress.

In commercial world especially one takes NOTHING for granted and that does NOT mean that one DISTRUSTS one and all. There has to be established a fine balance (which is incidentally a dynamic balance) in all relations in life. Don't take anyone or anything for granted and don't let anyone take you for granted! Place trust in people and relationships (preferably after verifying and CERTAINLY not BLINDLY!) and relate with all to collaborate on the positives of life. This may may sound like justifying "duplicity" but it is not so! This conduct is an imperative to protect self (and not selfish) interests.

Try and live your life consciously!

You have just passed through a very unpleasant experience. Leave it behind and ensure that it does not contaminate or shadow your future relationships. It is better to communicate carefully and not leave anything to doubt, assumption and assunption.

Your boss in the recent experience may be a negative and vindictive personality and knows nothing better. If only you had NOT trusted him blindly and had been careful about personal interests and protection, you would have writing a different story-a happy and positive story.

But nothing is lost permanently. You can create your future in your vision! Cheer up.

Best wishes for taking charge of own life once again and for better!!

Regards

samvedan
