dear all i would like to have clarification on role and responsibilities of hr in safety thank you mannubhai

HR responsibility starts with one main componant of safety triangle i.e. Persons Broadly I can say ........
AT THE TIME OF SELECTION:
-Should know local language .
-Should be medically fit.
-Preferably having working experience in relevent industry.
-Should consider age criteria
- Should be of user specified Qualification.

AT THE TIME OF JOINING Organization:

- Pre-employment Medical Checkup
- Facilate Safety Induction Training
- Provide PPEs ( Uniform & Other relevent PPE)
-Job agreement with specific safety clauses

DURING WORKING with Organization :

- Periodical Medical Checkup
- BBS trainings
- Motivate for safety activity time to time
- At the time of appriasal considertation of safety performance

AT THE TIME OF Leaving organization :

- Medical Checkup
- Exit Interview - By keeping Safety Focus
- Reliving letter - Mention safety Performance grade

the first objective of HR in lefty terms is to ensure the health and wellbeing of workers so as they could perform their task well with full safety.furthermore u may go through Factories Acts 1948 for having better understanding.
