presently HR & GA is combined department now our MD wants to seperate the department. now I have doubt that TNPCB (Tamil Nadu Polution Control) related work comes under HR or GA
Please Clarify

Hi,
It dependes how the management wants to bifuracate strictly speaking the activities like PCB / Security / House keeping / transport / contract labour / canteen etc., etc are to be part of GA. Even in some of the companies the ESI / PF / PT and other statutory / Welfare, pay roll management activties will be entrusted to GA.
HR will take care of core activities like selection & recruitment , Training & development, career plng, Performance management, Strategic HR, Compensation & Benefit management & exit processes will be with HR. Better to discuss with the senior management, work out the Job description for both the sections and accordingly bifurcate.
