Hi
Two or three years back, I had given an interview in Gurgaon in a Multinational Mobile company through a Consultant for the post of Asst. Manager HR for their branch in one of the cities of UP. I was selected, when I asked the consultant to pay my traveling expensesas promised..they denied instead they also said, of you want this job you need to pay your 15 days pay to one of the persons who was in the interview panel, only then I'll be paid my TA etc.
I didn't join, but I called the same consultant several times for paying my traveling expenses..finally I wrote a letter to the VP of the same mobile company citing the whole case..giving the name of people..finally..they took actions..that recruiter was fired...
In your case, unless you communicate the problem to the seniors in the management, nothing can be done..but take action only when you are more than 100% sure..because at many places the same is happening at the top level..

SOME TIMES THE PERSONS ENTRUSTED WITH THE TASK OF RECRUITING PERSONS ARE LURED OF THE EASY MONEY, THEY CAN MAKE BY RESORTING TO THESE DESIGNS. YOU SHOULD NOT FALL PREY TO THAT. ALL THE HR MANAGERS ARE NOT CORRUPT. I HAVE COME ACROSS PEOPLE WHO DID NOT RECOVER ANYTHING FROM THE EMPLOYEE AND THE CONSULTANTS ARE PAID BY THE RECRUITING COMPANY.

Dear Shyam,
If you have all the material and evidence to prove that he is corrupt, I dont think you should stop yourself in going to the top Management and share with them.
One of my colleague has faced this problem in her last company and that is the reason she left that company, but even I told her that leaving without telling to Senior Management is no solution. Now that person will be doing whatever he wants.
Corruption is there evrywhere but there are people to stop it also, I would suggest to go ahead write a mail to his seniors, or mail them all the evidence( photocopies only).
ALl the best to you.
Best regards,
Archna
