Dear professionals,
In our company we have many retainers employed. Till date an amount of 2% was deducted from the payment of retainers which could be claimed from IT Department at the time of IT Return filing. From this month as per the rules of GOI amount of TAX is increased to 10%(according to account department) which is causing trouble for retainers. Is the deduction fare or is there any way that their deduction can be stopped...

Dear Professionals,
I have a query on the following:
1) Can we hire 100 retainers for a specific project which is temporary (may be a year).
2) Can we hire college students who can work in shifts as retainers for the project which involves just typings skills.
3) Is there any age limit to hire a retainer?
4) Should we need to extend any social benefits (PF/ESI/LEAVE/BONUS) to these retainers or just deduct TDS whatever applicable.
5) Will they claim for permanent job after completion of one year?

Dear Professionals,
We have our head office at Delhi. Should we need to have a separate standing order for our unit in Chennai or can we include our unit in the existing standing order with our Head Office?

I think you should have separate standing order for the units in different states as the state regulations differ from state to state. Pon
My views.
1. Can be.
2. They may have to produce no objection from the Instituitions.
3. No age limit
4. Extending social benefits is not mandatory.
5. Contract shall be framed in such a way for a specific period.

Dear Professionals,
Could anyone help me with the draft of temporary employment letter. We are planning to have temporary employees for a period of one year. Also, help me with the leave eligibility and social benefits eligibility for these temporary employees.
