Hello...

this is sweety.. completed my MBA(HR) recently. In the month of February(before i completed my MBA) i received an opportunity from a pharma company as a HR/Admin executive.. but they asked me to sign on a bond for 2years. so i rejected the job. after 3 months the same persons called me and asked me to join without bond for less pay. i agreed. and now they appointed me as a admin executive and as a P.A. to M.D.. reluctantly i joined because they assured me that they will assign me the HR works too. but know i am not enjoying my work. because my dream is to settle down in HR field. Please post me ur valuable suggestions so that i can decide either to stay or skip.. But i love be a HR person. because of that only by crossing so many obstacles i pursued my MBA. i know how much i struggled to do my MBA by leaving my parents and facing so many troubles at Hyd. and i am planning to go abroad because of some personal reasons. how i can proceed for that. and i heard that there is no chances of getting jobs at abroad without having experience. is in't it? please suggest me... and guide so that i will be very greatfull.. please

Greetings!
First of all dont get dejected of ur current job. If u dont have any exposure in HR Areas and u have a passion in HR better u can skip from this job to new one.
But getting into HR and getting a HR job is not too easy. Initially you will get Recruiter job.
Regarding onsite opportunity for HR I am not aware of that.
Think twice before shifting or redo ur job.

Hi sweety,

Firstly if you not happy in a job, you won't be able to excel and then its your own limit to stretch.. but don't think everything comes easy. Initially in HR you'll hardly be paid and may even have to do a recruiters job, but the fact remains there are jobs in the market its just your task to make the interviewer/ recruiter realise that you'll be a good fit in the organization. So don't worry about jobs. Someone has rightly said one shouldn't try to fit a square peg in a round hole.

Secondly, HR and Admin are 2 completely different jurisdictions - companies has recently started realising the fact that HR is something actually specific and not a part of Admin. HR is "the concept of people and their potential as a resource" and admin is "to bring into use or operation of resources of a company in the best possible way"; hope this makes clear how different the 2 are. HR is somethin very specific and deals with a lot of variables like emotions, strategic planning, group dynamics etc etc.

Thirdly, everyone can give you his/her own perspective or point of view but at the end of the day its your decision. and if once we compromise when it comes to our job in the long run we won't be able to give in our best and we'll keep searching for reasons to leave the company off and on.
