I am MBA in HR with 6+ years experience in NON IT Recruitment in Staffing and Placement agencies. I am married and blessed with a son who is 3.6 yrs old. First I worked for 1.9 years with a placement consultancy, then joined with a bigger company which is into temp staffing and worked for almost 3.2 years. I have health issues like Sinus and allergy to ac, dust due to which I Quit here and joined with a small recruitment firm near by residence. Its almost 1.6 years over.

Now a days I lack my complete interest to focus on my work. Its boring and the atmosphere is also not formal though very friendly. I am difficult to cope up here, may be my attitude problem and at the same time due to my health issues, unable to move to another organization. Though the present job is very flexible, and I have work life balance, there is not much growth and other benefits. I am totally confused and pondering over the issue keeping health and family as my constraint to build up my career.

Dear Friends
Please provide your suggestion and ideas.

hai kumari!!!
understood ur confusion, first have a satisfied mind within urself that u have succeeded in your family live by having a son of 4 years. hope so ur personal life runs smooth. the problem with your official life is due to concentration lacking and your self relaisation, and self commitment, in spritual way or in meditation technique if i could feelyour problem you will be suffering with head ache often and your eyes will be burning and you will feel a deep and calm sleep even if you have a long hour sleep. the root cause is agnaya chakara of your body is not working, to boost it up its very easy to activate it, if you feel that i have understood your problem clearly, kindly reply with your mail id so that i can have discussion with you to resolve your issue. my gtalk id is sweetadithiyan yahoo mesenger id is sweetkarthi80. hope to get a reply from you

Hello BK,

What is your location?

Dr. Karthik's suggestion is good & it should work for sure--though I may not really agree with his conclusion about 'agnya chakra'.

Looking @ your symptoms, it seems to be, per-se, a combination of factors.

First & foremost, pl try to develop an attitude of 'self-satisfaction'--though I know it's easier said than done, there's no other choice. Unless you direct your will in that direction, whatever meditation you do may not help you.

Next is for you to figure-out ways to make your current job more interesting, at least until your next course of action is decided--I am sure there could be gaps in your job role that you may have ignored earlier--pl check-out & make efforts to get involved into those activities.

The basic idea is this: the saying of 'an idle mind is a devil's workshop' is very true. So just find something DIFFERENT to do, so that you come out of the 'boring' mindset ASAP--the focus being on 'different'.

The reason why I am specifically mentioning this aspect is this: once a solution is found for your situation/problem--of which I am sure, you will then begin to attend interviews. This is when you will find yourself at a big disadvantage, if you don't keep yourself sharp & mentally agile.

The worst-case scenario will be either of these: you will not be able to fare well in the interviews thereby loosing the opportunity OR the new company will take advantage of your situation since you will offering them a reason for it with your interview performance. Hope you get the point.
