HELLO SIR,

I have certain views on the related topic.

The most important thing is to have a impressive personality. i mean to say one should always look fresh and energetic and be ready to face any situation with calm mind.

second thing is the communication skill. one should know how to interact by judging the personality of the person whom u r interacting.

v believe these skills r supposed to be present in a manager but still one should continue to brush up these skills. one should take active participation in the (MDP)training programs provided by the company.

for leadership skill, i think that one needs to have truth in his/her talk. Empathy is the most important ingredient in a leader. once a leader is able understand his/her followers, its easy to gain trust of the followers. leader cannot alone lead, there has to be follower and for this it could be said that its a team effort and hence one should be a good listner. interact with ur followers in order to know their views and make them feel as a part of group decision making.

Thanks

Dear Mr. Suresh
In short and sweet, i would love to say that, you need to understand your employees working at both levels - Horizontal and Vertical.
Managing employees is not an easy task as employee related issues are endless but you can try your best to meet them, to certain extent only.
Its not that easy to disclose everything, but i prefer the western training methodology where many professionals had opted for hiring A COACH for acquiring relevant skills as COACH plays a vital role in educating/training/mentoring PROFESSIONALS TO REACH THEIR GOALS.
If you are interested, then i am ready to offer my services as "A COACH". If you wish to avail my services, you are most welcome......
With profound regards

Dear friends,
Improving Managerial Skills including leadership is through acquiring them. I know that it sounds confusing yet I stick to what I wrote first. Managerial skills are not earned on a single day. They are earned through practicing and exploring. A better idea to get yourself polished is by reading some success stories of world's great managers and leaders. Also, get used to case studies and make it a practice to read business articles regularly.

Hi,
I'd propose the Management by Coaching approach, develped by Pro Mind Consulting. Here's a short presentation:
Management by Coaching (MPC™) is a management system that provides all managers with the tools they need in order to gain a global vision of their role, project, partners and customers. Similarly, it allows them to take enough distance to develop and adapt their competencies to new challenges, share their vision with their team and motivate them.
The aim of MPC™ is to complete projects in the most relevant and efficient way possible, while underlining the importance of well-being, which itself depends on a healthy lifestyle. Management by Coaching (MPC™) thus represents a highly efficient tool that contributes to a successful steering of organizational change, by allowing managers to act simultaneously as pilots and coaches.
