Hi Sir/Madam,
I am currently on a notice period in W company. As per new policy the relieving date option has been removed for employee who are Voluntarily resigning. Now employee has to select the default 60 days notice period. Only HR or superviso can change the date. No one is ready to take the responsibility.
As per my commitment to my new org i cannot afford to give notice period more than 2 weeks. Can i take any action on this..since the change in policy was not informed to us. What does law say..your comments will be very helpful.

Hi yogesh,
First of all can u tell me what was mentioned on your wipro offer letter
1. If in your offer letter u have signed that minimum notice period is 60 days then in this case management reserves the rite not to change that. So kindly check your offer letter

Hi Members,
Thank you very much for your valuable comments..The resignation has been accepted bcoz the new organization extended my joining date. It would have been mess if new org had not changed the joining date..I hate these practices..Thank a Ton!!

Yogesh
