Hi Friends,
I am a corporate trainer and have recently joined a software company.
There are software professionals working here who lack on personality skills.
Kindly suggest what kind of training modules would be appropriate for them.
Thanks

Hi Yuvraj,
First find out the Training need analysis. Is it based on communication, team work , identity issues, strategic thinking, influencing skills, responsibility and awareness. Please trace the grey areas and develop a plan for the same .
See personality in itself is a very wide and vast term. You have to check the DISC profiling or say any attribute test which will help you to recognise their grey areas.Possibly have a discussion with the TLs/Managers findput the cult or mindset of their respective teams and find out how can these grey areas be addressed.
Thanks and regards

Hi,
@ ACT- Thanks for the input. The blogs are of great help.
@ Kaushik- TNA has been done and areas of opportunity have been discovered, and unfortunately, broadly speaking they cover the all the aspects of ones personality, from presentation skills to business writing, motivation to social etiquette.
The challenge is that the initiative by the human resource dept. seems more like imposed onto the operations department, and acceptance is the concern.
Tell me if you have something to suggest on this.
Thanks

Hi... Yuvraj,
I think in this case you should try to take outdoor training sessions, in this way they will not resist whatever initiative u have taken... it's quite obvious they will think that it is imposed on them

Being a corporate counsellor, I would suggest you to start from a Empowerment. According to me, though they are well qualified, excellent at work, highly intelligent, etc. they lack to look at their life wholistically, that is why they need an external help to take better decision.
