Hello while filling the application form for new employment some companies ask for a designation/post in the current organization. in my current organization there has been change in the designation where all the earlier designation has been made as 'role title' and introduced the new common designation. but new designation doesn t clarify clearly the official role title e.g. the designation as 'manager' and official 'role title' as 'project leader' so in this case it is ok to specify as role title as 'project leader' in their application form? thanks for your earliest answer. regards
Senior supervisor in last 18years refused his promotion two times
Dear senior please advice if employee who is working as designation senior supervisor from last 18years & two times refused his promotion letter in previous years for next executive level designation then again can be promote senior supervisor levelemp.salary 35000 level to next executive level based on promotion policy as per certified standing and if concerned employee the refused the promotion letter & doesnt want executive level designationjunior executive from current designation senior supervisor then in this situation management could take any action against him. promotion policy as per standing order: no workman shall be entitled to automatic promotions which are at the sole discretion of the management. depending upon vacancies requirement and over all suitability etc. to the job. employees promotion to a higher grade/skill is the executive right and function of the management. while promoting an employee his merits and seniority will be considered as main criteria. in deciding this factor the employees/workmans qualification efficiency and attendance past service records shall be taken in to consideration. requested to please review & advice further in this matter.

Dear all i am currently working as a front desk executive & i want to switch in hr but its getting difficult due to my current designation & high salary so what to do?kindly suggest. i am currently working as an jr. executive administration front office. i was accepted this job due to my last company was relocate in another states& i had a financial problem so accept this receptionist job . but i have 2.1 yrs exp. as an hr executive in prier company .now i want to switch over again in hr profile but its getting difficult because of my current salary which was little high than hr openings & current designation related to front desk. please let me know what to do? whenever i was try for hr job so many employers offer me reception job with high pay due to my current designation & when ever i am trying for reception they think that i am over qualified for reception post . i am totally confuse about my future career path. should i accept hr job as a fresher with low salary or continue with reception profile with high salary. if i accept first option then it will create financial problem & if i select second option then i will never get work satisfaction & not seen bright future.please guide me what to do? thanks & regards gold en
Designation moved down in organization rebanding
Hi before joining current company my designation was senior executive with same designation joined current company in 2012 holding experience of 5yrs 8monts. this year there was organization rebanding with some criteria especially for those who are software/sr.software executive/senior executive level like with more than 3years experience and complete last two appraisals will move to from software to senior software same for executive to senior executive. with me there are many people joined in last two years holding same exp and designation keeping these criteria all our designation moved to one level down. in mycase my supervisor promised me for promotion to assistant manager as i moved back to executive even after promotion my designation will be senior executive. i raised this issue with hr generalist they cosulted top management and came back this criteria cannot be relaxed for recently joined laterals also. can some one suggest what is the best way to deal with to sort things as this my career and i am completing 7yrs in by next month. thanks karthi
