Pf & esic facility to old employees
Hi i need a help. we are 75 yrs old company and i ve just joined here. we have recently started with the pf & esic facility. only new employees are benefited under pf & i m thinking of giving pf and esic facility to old employees as well who are not registered for pf & please guide me whether we can register them for pf & esic benefits. regards rashmi

Dear sir i have a confusion for the deduction for pf & esic amount if somebody joined us but he worked only one day after that he was not coming in the office the he is eligible for pf & esic contribution? this is compulsary for deduction or any rules for the calculation of pf & esic if he is working 1 day or not less than 7 days?. regards lavkush tripathi

Hello can anyone tell me is registration with esic & pf i just want know the amount of regsitration for esic & pf. one more thing if a person does not have 20 employees will they be able to register with esic & pf. because otherwise big clients may not give work without such registrations. regrds hanish

Hi all my company is hiring security guards from a contractor we are not aware about their deduction of esic & pf. we are paying per guard rs.3500/ plus service tax as per their income contractor have to give benefit of esic & pf. if they are deducting esic & pf then are we liable to pay esic & pf to goverment ?

Esic calculation - gross salary after considering employer share of esic
I am really confused as to calculation of 21000 gross salary for suppose i have a ctc of rs. 280000 which includes pf employer share rs. 20160 1680 per month and hence my gross being 259840 21653/month. now my understanding of deciding whether a person is covered under esic is if ctc pf employer < 21000/month then the person will be eligible for what the other suggestion i have received is if my ctc is rs. 280000 pf employer is rs. 20160 and esic employer share is rs. 11782 4.75 of gross so my gross drops to rs. 248052 20671/month now since my gross after considering employer share of esic is below 21000 i will have to be registered under kindly help as to which method of calculation is correct. thanks
