Dear Ms. Caieta
Most of the organisations hire TRAINERS with minimum experience in soft skills. They may be from HR background or with sufficient experience but TRAINING should be their PASSION and it should be in their BLOOD. CERTIFICATIONS can be considered as ADDED ADVANTAGE only.

Selection process of trainers is similar to hiring FACULTY(college or school) where one has to demonstrate their skills
1) COMMUNICATION SKILLS
2) PRESENTATION SKILLS
3) CONVINCING SKILLS
4) CONVERSING SKILLS
5) COMMAND ON LANGUAGE

besides indept knowledge in all modules pertaining to SOFT SKILLS. Most of the trainers get themselves trained by delivering presentations, which is a continuous self development process.

For trainers, growth is proportional to the knowledge they had gained and demonstrated. Most of the trainers end up in managing or heading EMPLOYEE TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT. Only an experienced TRAINER can evaluate another TRAINER but then, there will be TOUGH COMPETITION between two wise guys..

There is a demand for TRAINERS playing multiple roles. If any trainers demands are not met, they will start promoting themselves as FREELANCERS.

Please do let me know about your organisation and your requirement for SOFT TRAINER.

With profound regards
