Please go through the attached Quarterly E-magazine which is released by our Corporate Office... This is the first edition of the E-magazine...
Request all to go through the same and give your valuable comments/value addition for make it more better, so that the same comments I can forward to our corporate safety...

1. little sizing of table boxes for perfection
2. Can remove borders for tables in between
3. The awards and aprreciation may be with photos
4. the magazine can be alligned
a) Corporate news firtst
b) Events and conferences
c) Awards and recognision
d) Individual divisions performances in safety
e) Corporate awrds to Units
f) Safety Knowledge
g) Safety tips
e) Safety slogans on Footers
this is some of my thoughts only and not to criticise your magazine, think this would be useful

Nice.... keep up the good work.
Actually even we would be comming with our 1st edition of quaterly newletter in June. just wanted to know in which software did you make this newletter - is it microsoft publisher or coreldraw. it would be nice if you could tell me about it.

Actually its not made by me... Its we receive from our corporate... The info which you ask is not available with me presently... Once I came to know which software I will let you know... However I think its not a big job of making such a document... You can use any of the two softwares you mentioned and also in Pagemaker you can design its...
Also request to share your magazine once you made...

Dear dipil,
Magzine is really good & nice updates are present.To make it more user friendly,
1.you can add pics of your own employees,slogans of your area.
2.You can also make a column of unsafe act or conditions photo. (Out of observations of UA/UC condition the one which had potential of creating accident or on severity basis you can publish its photo with area or agency name.This will also discourage the agency from doing unsafe work)
3. Yes award Pics.
4.LTIFR datas(most safe zone of plant/section)
5.Training details.
6. New iniciatives in safety. etc.
These are just suggestions.

Dear Dipil,
Whoever prepared this e magazine, convey my wishes to them.
You can suggest to add 5S concepts in the forth coming editions.
You can reproduce some important news from some safety magazine like the one from National Safety Council etc.,
News on the Safety day celebrations, Suggestions from employees to ensure safety with in the orgn.
You can also add some gen safety points on Road Safety, MSDS
Kitchen Safety, Children Safety and like that.

Dear Dipil,
Good magzine, with scope for betterment. I am sure the forthcomming issues will get better with time and experiance.
Few suggestions -
Magazines can be a good source for motivation - A worthy suggestion from an employee which has been implemented for betterment of safety can be published as a case study with his name and photograph. This will boost his morale and motivate others too. All the more the theme gets widely circulated with chances of replication.
Slogans as footer is a nice idea.
Best practices being followed in the group - one in each issue can be informative.
A table showing comparative Safety performance of various units of the group may help in crating a competitive atmosphere. This may help the cause of safety in the long run.
Looking forward for the next issue.

Thank you so much for sharing such a good informtions but some how i felt that some modification is important like i found some text missing and spelling mistake.
On first page
  • Important decisions from EHS Board of 9 point some text missing, cant able to read, might be i loose some value able information and same with second page of Sharing of good practices, even their one text word missing continuation to Pull cord Modification at_______?
  • Spelling mistake on 2 page of Key CSI Highlights of first point..
  • kindly avoid Jargon words because Magazine know as open words..
Seems look to be very small mistake but this might effect to your popularity.
I appreciate your team work for making such a good Magazine

Its very nice to publish the Quarterly magazine....
some corrections u must do in it.......
1. where is the name of ur company? it must be highlighted in Bold on the top of d first page it must be as a well design header of ur magazine
2. Use user friendly font Verdana and font size for paragraph 10
3. For Heading if u want to use cursive writing use Monotype coursiva font with size 12 n Bold..
4. Reduce border size and use unique border for all topics.....
Rest of all is very good I appreciate u and ur team work

Sorry I forget to tell u 1 more thing instead of 2 use 4 pages magazine so its look like a book....
if u have Colour Laser A3 printer then just prepare 4 A4 pages n print it on A3 back to back then its look like a book and in only 1 page u print ur magazine.......
If u need any guidance for preparing header or design just reply me I will help u to prepare ur magazine.....

i want to share something (human Behaviour) with all of you.
Dipil had showed a magnizine & we all had found flaws in it & given suggestions on it.
So it is very easy to find faults & give suggestions on any topic so we can utilize this technice in our safety field too.HOW????????????
We have process deptt.,instrument,mechanical,electrical deptt.,in our plants so we can ask one deptt to let us know the unsafe practices & conditions of other deptt. like this what all is wrong going on in the plant will be know to us.
If u have any problem you can place & disscus (brain stroming) and you can get solutions too.

Very sorry for very late reply. Already our members give lot of suggestions/comments for your magazine.
My suggestion:
Garamond is a great font for magazines, textbooks, websites and long bodies of text and was recently named the second best font (after Helvetica) by a German publication so i suggest use Garamond font for your upcoming safety magazine.
From safety side add some safety cartoon pictures, safetydepartment achivements & records , upcoming safety programs ...mmmmmm
