Well you are right you should try your best to impress but please don’t over promise and under work. Think twice whatever you are going to suggest him you are able to handle it and u will be able continue the same in future also.

It would help if you gave more details about the nature of your work: what size is the company, what does it do, and which employees you will be surveying (all the staff or a sample?), etc.
Have a nice day.

Hi Pragati,
As Mr. Simhan already suggested, please provide further details so that the suggestions we can give will be really helpful.
There is no problems in conducting the survey, but you have to understand company's culture before you suggest something. There are many companies who are not yet prepared for such surveys and are afraid with the outcomes.
Awaiting your reply....:)

Hi Ajay,
As you said that you are in BPO Industry since 4 years and want to understand why do you want to change your career.
Check with your present company HR that every BPO Industry will have IT support where IVR and Sofware will be helped by them, in that area concentrate, if not be in the same industry for some time and mean while learn some new technology where u can fit your fitment
Now a days if you look, Embedded technology is booming (if you have Notnet technology it will be added advantage). concentrate on this
I would like to kow from you in which area ru interested, IT / ITES. basing on this i can suggest you more.

Hi Pragati,

what did u do in these three months, what is your total experience in your current stream.

As you said, your branch at present occupied by 50 Employees and very shorlty ramping upto 200 Employees.

r u in HR or Operations,

if you are in HR focus on stream lining of process and frame the new policies as per your branch requirement and be approach to branch head and take his inputs.

if you are in Operations, coordinate with HR for more understanding the process and then give your suggestions.

here one point you can focus that, as you said tht this branch has only 50 Employees and make a program saying that "VOICE OF EMPLOYEE" here conduct this program and see the responce of all the Employees and take the same feedback to higher official and come with solutions. while doing this program be very much carefull and concentrate on every employee bheaviour and attitude.

hope should work out and i have many more ideas where u can recognize and "I" wish you all the best for your future endeavors

Hi all,
Questions raised by Satya Penubothu clearly indicate that we need more anwsers before we can guide Pragati. In addition, Pragati please tell us what qualifications do you have , how much work experience you have prior to joining this company, and how much do you know about Employee Satisfaction Surveys (ESS).
Please see Why Employee Attitude Surveys Fail by Dr. William Steinberg - Employee Satisfaction Surveys for some problems with ESS.
As someone has suggested concentrate on what you have achieved rather than suggest conducting ESS at this stage of expansion.
Have a nice day.
