This mail/message of mine is to share, and seek guidance.
I am management professional who has put in about 22 years of experience in heterogeneous fields, and finally ended up with a job to pursue my passion, which is also a strength that is acknowledged.
However as on today my request for the required field has been quietly buried, and has been assigned a routine assignment. The targets as achieved get a negligible mention, in comparison to the pittance jobs which others do. There are enough occasions where others just rob the credit, and get a loud applause, but when the facts are told, the main man just smiles.
I am really lost, and should I end up my career with nothing to quote?
Regards,
Bharani

well im agree with this person (PON1965) that Self satisfaction is more than the outside recognition but the thing is that when you are not getting proper responses and get motivated by your superiors, you moral will go down and you cant get what you wanna achieve or have set your goals in whatever position/job/field.

Motivation and encouragement is also necessary dear. As he said above "targets as achieved get a negligible mention, in comparison to the pittance jobs which others do" in that case what he is feeling is right and obvious.

And Mr Bharani this is a bitter truth that when we speak about the fact, feels like talking to ourselves only bcz we found no ears bcz the peoples are not ready to hear this. But definitely im not saying that you should think over leaving this job but as you are most senior person and have more 22 years of life experience, you can understand these things much better us and i wanna say here that you try to speak them again and try to look for an good opportunity.

Thanks.I need to mention that I am sidelined, and the nature of the job is completely changed. If I am ventilating my frustration, I am doing it after bearing the disappointment for more than a year.Huh,I am not a pessimist, but for peanuts If I am taken for granted.......It matters.

Well Mr.Anil, I need to thank you for reminding me about the number of years I have put in.I am not sarcastic, but somewhere the rope breaks.I may have to get out of this place, MAY BE ?
