hy i am working in oil & energy sector as HR executive. recently i was surfing on site & one advertisement seen posting men & women require for petroleuim company in xxx country . i has appiled & i got mail replying that company has selected me & i suupose to get work visa by depositing 550 dollar . when i replied mail asking about if company pay same on behalf of me & then deduct from salary they said they dont have such policy . the number wriitten of HR persons is also not reachable . further company dont have any official website . what should i do ? please suggest i am in great confusion .

Please do not believe on such mails and pay any amount, initially they will ask you to pay Rs. 25000/- then they will tell you to give further amount and further and further. But they will not be available if you approach the embassy or even that company.
Even if the company exists too, the mail you received shall not be originated from them. If you personally approach the company, the securities available at gate will not allow you inside because whatever you have inyour hand is a fake appointment letter.
By seeing your resume if they give appointment letter means, think what will be credential of that so called company.
Be cautious while remitting any amount to any account or giving some cheque or draft to anyone.
The same is running on the name of Maruti, Videocon, Tata company too.
Instead of spending time in such fake call letter/appointment letter spend it usefully to you or someone which can be helpful.

At the outset i want to warn you 'NOT TO BE GREEDY". Kindly live contended life. I am sorry for this because, it was your mistake who failed to cross verify about the employer before you decided to remit 550$. kindly dont get excited whenever you come across such offers.......I am sure "Out of excitement" you had remitted 550$.
I can give you a list of names, of those who lost thousands of rupees, couple of them lost in LAKHS...more than USD2500...just hoping that, they will get better pay, better job followed by BETTER LIFE....
There are PROFESSIONALS in the world known for CHEATING INNOCENT HUMAN BEINGS and we HUMAN BEINGS get cheated whenever somebody says "I WILL PAY YOU MORE' "YOU ARE SELECTED" but no one will think "why someone wants to pays us more?" "why am i selected?".......you will never give a second thought about these points................its our brain, out of enthusiasm, reacts beyond normal limits.......
Such professionals are even in India. Best example is FAKE CAMPUS RECRUITMENT'S who are charging money from students........Mr. Bhaskar rightly said, someone promote online recruitment for VIDEOCON(multinational company). Many had fallen prey to it. Later MARUTI INDIA LIMITED came into picture...
Kindly understand the INTERNATIONAL RECRUITMENT PROCESS. If any employer/consultant/recruiter is demanding money.......FOR SURE, ITS A FAKE RECRUITMENT......Please don't fall prey to such website. Even today i use to get such emails but i never took action without evaluating them.
Be calculative, analytical, research oriented in your life(professional & personal)
