Dear Seniors,
I want to know if a job profile of an Executive Assistant to Sr. VP a good profile. From the discussion that I have had, I have been informed that the job would involve keeping a check on all the areas under the Sr.VP, follow-ups , research, assist the Sr. VP in decision making,policy making, etc.
I have done my MBA in HR and have over 2.5 yrs. exp. as an HR Generalist(recruitment, training, emp. engagment, pms, etc.)
And the areas under the VP are HR, IR, WCM & Safety.
Although my designation would be the same i.s. Asst. Manager, my job profile would be of an Executive Assistant.
Please guide me whether I should take the risk of taking up this profile.

Product executive. having 8 year experience. MBA in marketing.
my designation and profile would be the change Executive Assistant to VP sales and Marketing.
