I've come across two terms - "Salary Register" and "Salary Sheets".
These two are frequently used by the HR and sometimes in Accounts
division too especially while making provisions.
Am wondering if anyone could mention the difference between these
two terms. It would be great if seniors / super seniors here could
attach a format for each one.

Its very useful for HR, but Sir how to insert column insert in this format and please explain how it will calculate Half Day (auto calculated).

In my plant for some work i give work on contract basis.
while clearing bill I ask the contractor to submit the wage register and pf , esi paid challans, The contractors says pf and esi is not applicable as he is employing 14 members. I want to know what are the min number of employees required for PF ,ESI TO BE APPLICABLE

Dear Mohanbevin,
If Principal employer enrolled with PF & ESI then automatically contracts will come under purview of act irrespective of contractor employee strength.
For PF minimum 20 & for ESI minimum 10 employees required.
