You can explain in a better way, focusing on comparing your growth in another company with your current one. Describe the responsibilities, exposure, and roles you have in the new organization that surpass those in your current position.

Dear member,

It is really a very short period to change a job, and it is not advisable to do so without a valid reason. I suggest staying a little longer at your current job. However, if it is absolutely necessary to change, it would be better to specify that the reason is that the salary is often delayed and hardly paid on time.

The reason for which you want to change jobs, you know best. I would advise not to give non-applicable reasons. On a professional level, it looks cumbersome to explain why a job is changed so early, but if you reply from your growth point of view or desired job profile, it will be taken positively. You may mention that you are looking forward to having a conducive work environment. However, avoid pinpointing the shortcomings of your seniors there. Your clarity of thoughts and positive approach will work out.

Is it "Reason" OR "Excuse" that you are looking for? If it's "Reason," I think you yourself would be the right person to know it. And regarding excuses, there are a lot readily available in the job market by candidates, and maybe a few members here may also help you with the same.

Dear All,

I am in Administration and Facility Management with over 7.5 years of experience. I have worked in three companies as detailed below:

1. Two Wheeler Motors: 2.6 years
2. IT Company: 4.8 years
3. NGO Hospital: 8 months

Recently, I was employed with an NGO for 8 months. Unfortunately, I lost my job there last April due to funding issues. The NGO had to let go of 26 employees, including me, because they were unable to pay salaries.

Since last April, I have been unemployed and spent four months in my hometown dealing with personal matters. It has now been 8 months of being idle. During interviews, I have encountered the following questions:

1. Why did you leave the IT company to join the NGO? (I left the company seeking salary and professional growth).
2. Why did you work at the NGO for only 8 months? Is it appropriate to mention the financial challenges of my previous employer?
3. How can we justify hiring you after being unemployed for 8 months? What response should I provide?

For the past two months, I have been struggling to secure a job due to my 8-month unemployment period.

I seek your suggestions on what steps I should take to find a job and the appropriate responses to convince interviewers.
