You have already honoured the period Oct, 06 till Oct, 07. Now when you do his appraisal in April, 08 pay him on pro-rata basis from Nov, 07 till march, 08. In this way you will have regularised for the coming appraisal cycle.

In my friend company the increment cycle is April to March .He joined in company on 09 of June 2017 and his probation period has been completed. But company is giving increment those employees has been completed one year till April 30. As per factory act every worker who has worked for a period of 240 days or more in a factory during a calendar year shall be allowed during the subsequent calendar year for any kind of benefits. As per record his total working days 326. Can he eligible for increment
Kindly need your suggestion in regards of complete one year after 240 days any person is eligible for increment , if the company need one year should be completed for yearly increments
