I need your help. I am an Asst. Transport Manager & recently I have been given a new responsibility of managing of stores of more than 1000 truck whereas I have no idea about the store management. Can any person help me in basics of store management & managing of large stores & what is audit of the store & how it is carried out practically ?

If you want scientific solution then you need to learn linear programming and other parts of operations research like theory of queuing, theory of sequencing, theory of transportation and so on.
