Dear all, Can anyone tell me like the skill set of IT HR and Other sector HR different. Can a person working as HR in Processing unit apply for a HR job in IT field. The HR functions and all same. Is it necessary for a HR to have a knowledge in Technical area(IT) also....

No, not necessarily he/she should know about IT SKills, but yes when it comes for Training and Development little knowledge is required.
Nothing Differs with Manufactureing HR and IT HR, few laws in the paper. They way you deal with Manufacturing Employee and IT professional has to be different.
You have to conduct games and Events every week atleast once may be on friday evening.
Few other points too.
