Greetings Team,
I was working with IBM for a ITIS helpdesk bangalore.I had to join may21 2008, due to family reason i had to take leave from IBM on sept 27 2010.After that i couldnt report to duty,3 warning letters have been sent but due to critical family situation couldnt report back to office.i had to keep informing manager via phone regularly, he played wrong mentor in my life where he said that the management has initiated the absconding process. Now i have received my termination letter .A total of 2yrs 3 month experience have been lost.I have got through Cognizant and offer letter has been issued as i told them that i will be getting my releiving letter. Management said that it is not possible to convert termination letter to releiving letter . so what is the possibility for me to get offered in cognizant .As they had to offer me because of my experience.
Please let me know what the HR can do to take me into cognizant or it is not possible at all?

Just send me the total wording of termination letter, and I will tell you what to do ;)
or scan the termination letter and mail it or PM to me scan and blackout your name , add etc ;)
TERMINATION LETTER is actually only a hype and most HR just feel that a candidate who has been terminated should never be taken in anyother organisation, such HR s dont see the detailed side. Termination letter is just resignation from company side, company resigns from giving you work , and paying you salary, thats all ;) . So just show me the termination letter dear and let me go through it then I will advise you. ALso dont forget to take your PF etc from the company,.... if they dont cooperate just threaten them that you will file a case against the HR in person, and when that HR comes out of company you will take revenge.

you joined IBM on 21st may 2008.
you have, without authorization or sanction, been absent from work, since 27th september 2010.
The below letters have been sent from IBM requesting you to report to duty immediately.

However, no response has been forthcoming from your side. There is therefore, no dispute as to factual position. The management reserves the right to establish the undisputed fact of your absence without authorization or sanction if and as and when called upon to do so in an appropriate forum.
We have considered your case carefully and find that there exist no extenuating circumstances and hence are constrained to terminate your service.Therefore,we hereby terminate your service with effect from today. clause No (6)
if you are absent for a continuos period of 8 days without leave or obtaining your manager approval.you will be deemed to have voluntarily terminated your service without notice.
Kindly immediately return all assets of the company and contact the accounts department of the company to settle your account with the company.

ok what about those letters did you receive them? or did you care to reply them with reg post with AD,? or email to accounts dept? Now what happened happened go to accounts n settle your PF , etc, and take a full and final letter, its just a termination letter based on the reason is absenteeism , if the next co you gonna join has a human HR , then u wont have any prob, but most HR are now not human they have become inhuman ;( ,,,
That termination letter itself proves that you have experience from 21/05/08 to 27/09/10 and assumed your conduct was good during this period. So that termination letter is your reliving cum experience letter for relieving you can go to accts section and get no dues form and get it photocopied for future ref. So many people do fraud,theft, worth crores, murder etc, no one cares but that mgmt screws employee for some minimum error mistake,

I had to get the warning letters from the company and had to explain about my family situation and the mistake i did was i had to communicate to my manager via phone. He actually agreed and he only asked to me to take care of the family situation.I have got permission from him. Now i have lost everything here because if i had a written communication everything would have been fine.I had to get an offer letter after a great struggle into cognizant but the hr says that it is really difficult to recruit a person who has a termination letter. He says that the 3rd party verfication team will go through my case and there is more possiblty for getting a negative case result where u wil lose the job. They had to process my offer letter and have given to me as i said that wil be getting the releiving letter soon. After getting my scan documents he said will get update from the team . but he hasnt reverted back.
