Dear Folks, We are looking to form our company's "Social Committee". This committee will be responsible for all activities of staff and social activities organized by the company, whether sports activities, cultural or recreational, and other recreational staff activities.
We would like you assistance in the formation of this committee, on how to select the members of the Committee, and what their responsibilities and objectives.

well, its a good idea about employees recreational activities.
in my prospective, the committee may be like:
president from "HRD Dept"
vice President from "Production"
Committee members from "All Dept Heaads"
Financial Secretary from Finance dept.
Event Manager from General adminstration dept.

Sir,
make an announcement to the effect in your company.
invite volunteers for the same, possibly one for each process/ work area.
if possible do not form one gigantic commitee, form various sub commitees or forums eg one for waste minimisation, one for Total preventive maintenance etc...
