Dear seniors we are going to terminate one non performing employee. we have given warning letter for improving his perfomance thismonth and also asked for explanation of his non perfomance. first week of this month we given warning letter and he submitted explanation. in explanation he agreed improving his perfomance. but till now he has not improved his perfomance. so we are planning to degrade/terminate him at the end of this month. what are the formalities of doing that. i am doing this for the first time in my career as hr seniors please help me regards soju

Dear seniors kindly suggest me a formal legal way of terminsting an employee due to his non perfomance. he had been given perfomance wrning letters months back and warned to perform well. now the situation has not been changed. written warning an verbal warning were given. even though he is not improving himself. now he is in the finishing stage of a project which he handle alone. the decision is to hold the salary till he complete the project. also the mangement wants to give him two options such as. 1. in future he will not work with the current salary. the salary would be lesser. 2. not accepted the 1st option he has to quit the organization. i am going to handle this situation now. how can i legally handle this case. i would be grate full for your experienced and valuable suggestions regards soja oliver hr
