We have a female employee who just completed her 6 months here which means she is no longer on probation. her age is 58 and lately she is taking too many leaves due to being ill high bp etc. now she says that she has been advised to seek rest for 3 weeks. we are in the prime of our work right now and do not want her to collapse during her duty. can we fire her on health grounds stating that we cannot accommodate a person to work full time of she is in such frail state of health?

Dear all our organization lone labor contractor was died due to sudden ill health recently what procedure to be adopted to intimate the labor officer of the are concerned? should i fill form vi b enough ?that is used normally for work completion certificate or is there any other procedure to be followed as we need to issue form v to someone to appoint as new contractor in place of previous contractor for the labor strength of approximately 70 contract labor working under him for gardeningcleaning loading and unloading purpose. hope your early response definitely useful for us to act upon it. with regards

Dear all i m priya working in seamless tube manufacturing company in dadra & nagar haveliunion territory. i have a doubt please i need suggestions. contract labour regulation & abolition act 1970 & rules 1971 is silent about the safety aspect of contarct labour it only focuses about the health hygine and amenities need to provide by principal employer. please correct me if i m wrong. and my query is who is going to bear the expenses in case any industrial accident in acse of labour contract employee. is it 50 50 ratio or principal employer is 100 responsibility. regards priya
