It is a fact most of the concerned donot know actual benefits of ESI and generally it is felt it is useful only to get sick leave something like that.
I would request the experienced and knowledgeable persons to enumerate the real benefits of ESI to the workers and enlight them.

2. Extended Sickness Benefit
3. Enhanced Sickness Benefit

Ofcourse all theses benefits will be available to the employee only when the contributions both from employee and employer are regular. The employee contribution to the esi scheme is 1.75% and that of employer is 4.75%.
