Hi Hameetha,
For Non-IT it is very difficult to get good responses from the Jobportals because of various reasons.
But the best way to source is by using your contacts..
Letz say if you are looking for a Marketing guy from the Telecom domain, call up some call center and say that you are looking for a new connection. Then you'll get to speak to some tele-sales or some juniour field sales guy.
From him you can generate references.
From then you can alwz take it forward as a recruiter.
Let me know if you need any other help.
Rgds,
Krishna

Thanks for your immediate feed back through this forum.
Do you think that as a HR Executive in an Organisatiion ,they can do this Head Hunting or sourcing through the method what you have suggested ?.Then Consultancies and HR Executive will be treated as the same . How will the candidates have the due respect to work in the organisation if he /she is contacted by the HR Executive of the organisation through this cold calling method ??
Any comments ?? Pls. let me know .
How do you think about the Paper Advertisements?
Will the 'Employment Exchanges' allow the Private organisations to post their vacancies on their notice boards?
Could you clarify in this regard?

I supposed working with companies / consultant do not effect the reputation of yours, since what you are doing is job for what your company hired you.
All , we just put recruiters work with the consultant firm as down grade but if , we try to find their job profile are much better then some of good corporates.
In fact I am also consultant and i had noticed that recruitment executive in most of my client office do the same job which my recruitment executive do at my end and they are more better performer then others.
