Dear Mr asmakausar,

I am trying to give you certain tips for your questions. There is no right or wrong answers. These are the standard questions asked in any interview.

1. What is the reason for changing the job?

Defenitly you know why you are leaving the job or trying for other jobs. It might be various reasons. Might be for better growth, better salary, better organisation, proximity, might be your boss is not getting along with u well ?????. Marriage and change of place etc etc. But as far as possible try to be honest and give proper justification. But my advice to you is never blame a organisation or blame your boss and dont give health reasons. This gives a bad impression.

2. At the end of th interview they ask me do you want anything to ask us?

This is a good way of ending the interview by the interviewer. If you have any doubts on the job profile, working hours, Clarification on salary if they have discussed with u in the first intervew itself, to whome you will be reporting to or how big is the team etc etc. But never ask questions for the sake of asking. If u dont have questions say no sir. Never put any demanding questions to the interviewer.

3. Tell me about yourself?

This question is asked in the begining of the interview to make the cadidate comfortable and know something about the candidate. Of course many details will be already in your resume. but still they want to hear it from you to know your communication skill and some time to ascertain what u have projected in your resume. Some times the interviewer would like to know your family background which will not be in ur resume. When they ask this question dont have long answers, be brief and specific. Start from Graduation, post graduation, your previous organisation in brief, and your family back ground. Then leave it open to them to ask further questions.

Hope I have clarified your doubts,

Thanks B N Nagaraj
