Can you pl confirm/clarify WHY you need the Salary slip?
I am not sure if you are aware of the consequences of asking such a document without any logical/legitimate reason(s) given?
It CAN be construed that you want to submit it somewhere to fake your salary.
There's a quote: If you want the right answer, you have to ask the right question.
If you don't, then don't blame the other person(s) for coming to the wrong conclusions.

Now things seem to be more clear.
Coming to your query, suggest ask the Company concerned for the deductions in your CTC/Gross. That way you will be able to make up your mind. The reason I think this will be better is that every company have their own salary structure--breakup & deductions included. Keep YOURSELF as the reference point & see if what you are offered satisfies you or not. If yes, go ahead.
If at all, you want to have some sort of a benchmark, then you can only compare with the CTC/Gross, for which you will need to share the specific figures so that those who are in that industry/field can advise you with accuracy.

thanks for the reply..what happend was when i contact the company they gave me a CTC of 7 lacs per annum...but when i asked to elobarate it, they want me to send a confirmation of joining date..so im in a dilemma..can u help me with atleast the percentage of nonvariable componets like basic% HRA% DA% allowance etc according to govt rules that way i can calculate myslef and b sure il on safe path...thank u

It's a bit tough to give any accurate figures, though you do have a genuine reason to ask.
The reason why it's not practical/tough is this: most companies have different CTC structures.
If you wish, you can send me a private message naming the Company, so that I can TRY to check it out. No promises though.
However, I fail to understand why they are linking this info with your Joining Date--except being a pressure tactic.
Suggest you write back to them politely that unless you are clear of your earnings, you would not be able to give a formal OK. You can also add that--if the figures are to your satisfaction and/or are clear, you can join by such-and-such timeframe/date. So in a way, you are giving them what they want--albeit with a rider.

Thanks for the reply..actually its for a mid-sized company, a Medical BPO. Infact I heard that Basic, HRA, Medical, misc allowances have some acceptable percentages and I need it according to hyderabad city. I have enough idea about other cities, but not hyderabad. It will b great if u could help me with a salary slip of hyderabad or atleast the general percentage of different componets as i mentioned earlier. I do not want to contact the company since they should not think Im too keen in joining them....Thank u
