Dear Seniors,
Hello to all of you.Well i have a few questions.Seek your answers in this regard.
Q1.Can a employee's leave be transferred if he is transferred to a company's sister concern.
Q2.If we do not take a person on roll since he does not fit into our mandatory criteria of being a graduate, then how long can we carry on with such an employee as a not on roll employee.Does a company have an obligation to take him on roll after a certain period of time.
Q3.Sick leaves can be accumulated. What is this concept.Does this mean for a certain limit the sick employee gets leave with pay due to his illness even if his normal sick leave of say 7 days a year lapses.
It would be more substantial if your answers are supported by court verdicts etc.
Best Regards

1. If he is not getting new appointment letter from new concern then his leave will get transferred.
2. u can make a fixed term contract wid the employee for 1 or 2 year. In that case company is not liable 2 take him on roll.
3. it depends upon leave policy of company. In some org. SL if not taken during the year get accumulated and employee get them carry forward. In that case he can take them in next year with the rest 7 SL. Now its upto ur company policy whether u want SL 2 b carry forward or lapse.
Thanks
