hi if employee is not having any leaves ,thn he is undergoing for loss of pay... so we should calculate only those days or we should consider sundays also.

Leave Calculation is a very sensitive issue and need a overall look at the organizational functioning before deciding the Policy.
- Does all people work in shifts
- Is it 5 day / 6 day working
- Is Sunday / saturday a general off for every one
Once you decide what is the Normal wokk schedule , then only you can decide what is over the Normal and need compensation to employee.
Many orgnaizations dont like to pay overtime or leave encashment, where they are not clear on tracking attendance, its impossible.
Thus they provide Compensatory leave off's which can be availed within a time frame, thus employee gets time off in compensation for Time spend being away from family.
Only in extrem tight situations where people work on project deadlines, managers are neither able to give weekly off's and leave , the encashment is allowed for weekly offs based on Hourly basis or day basis only on basic salary.
This is not swapping , but a minor way to compensate the loss, it cannot be equivalent to the same as a Days Salary.
