Very good idea. My father, a chartered accountant taught us how to make me and my brother who is an engineer how to prepare the balance sheet the moment we reached high school. Our nuts and bolts finance is much better than some others who are formally qualified.
Management of money and people are there everywhere and so along with fianance, some HR literacy would do no harm, Even sales can be taught in a way that iltimately, everyone has to sell whether himself or a product.

Make them see the difference between needs and wants: Children normally do not understand the value of money and how difficult is it to earn money. This makes them spend it unnecessarily without giving it another thought. They often succumb to peer pressure. Make them understand the difference between necessities and luxury.
