we are having a female employee in our office.we are giving her sat & sun off.she takes leave for seven days starting from monday till sunday she attend on monday after her leave.In such case should we deduct her leave including sat & sun or only for 5 days..?
I think Leaves are calculated considering minimum 240 days in a year and not 365. Thus the actual worked days needs to be considered for calculating the leaves. Further it also to be kept in mind that further calculations becomes redundant because once the condition of 240 minimum worked days get satisfied he automatically gets 20 days EL in a year. It is again matter of negotiation and vary from company to company.
