Dear gaurav,
if an employee has saturday,sunday off then he remain absent on monday how the leave willbe calculated 3days or only of monday.
Lta deduction from salary is legal or not.Because LTA is given by company if am not wrong.
pls solve my above query.

Dear Shivaji,
The rule you are talking about is called as suffix or prefix. In your case if an employess went on leave on friday and also avail leave on monday then he will be marked on leave from friday to Monday i.e for 4 days. But he attends office either on Friday or Sunday then only one day leave will be considered

yes, gourav is correct, because once you have company declared holidays on saturday and sunday then in that case person has to attend his office on either friday or monday otherwise he will have to fill leave application for four days

But in few co. not inculde the saturday and sunday in leave, if we take leave from thursday to next thursday the two day saturday and sunday not counted. Regards Uday N. Mishra
