Hi,
Currently a Project Trainee at L&T-ECC, wanted to know of project ideas on Six sigma and HR.
Looking forward to complete my Greenbelt six sigma project, so what could be done in HR, is it mandatory that I need to work under a Black belt?
Anyother possibilities of doing a project in HR related to TA/NLP (transactional analysis/ Neuro Linguistic Programming) ?
Please share standard questionnaires to go about it or suggest on related topics.

Hi,
I am working as Full Time Black Belt with my current organisation.
My job is to support the green belts with statistical tools etc to analysis the problem and find the root cause.
The Six Sigma projects that we take up using DMAIC methodology.
In the last 2 years we have done 2 Six Sigma projects for HR.
i) To reduce the operator's attrition
ii) To improve the manager's approachability (near to completion)
Can share the presentation for the first project if required.
Best Regards,
Ashok Sinha.

Hello,
I don't have much idea about HR processes but i can tell you if any project will qualify as a Six Sigma project if you tell me the problem statment.
Also working under a Black Belt is recommended as (s)he will help you better with the analysis part as (s)he is supposed to have a good indepth knowledge of Six Sigma methodology and statistics in particular.
