Dear all,
I need to prepare a breakup wherein the basic salary of the concerned employee is more than 1 lakhs thus I want to know tat how shall i proceed with this and is there ant legal obligation for the employees who are drawing more than 1 lakh salary .

Hi!! Even I faced a similar problem recently. Our package was having limited options focussing maily for junior and middle level employees. So I created a new salary structure by introducing various reimbursements alongwith basic+DA, HRA, Conveyance and other allowances. If you are interested I can share some details. Bye

By Break-up one understands the components of Gross Salary.
The Gross salary is in accordance with the scale applicable for various categories
The various components of salary can be :
Basic Pay,
Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA),
House Rent Allowance,
City Compensatory Allowance(PRA),
Medical Reimbursement,
Conveyance allowance and
Any other special allowance as applicable.

Note 2) : Reimbursement for Fuel Expenses - will be paid @ of Rs.3.50 Per Kilometre for official use only. Log Book has to be maintained.The amt has to be claimed by attaching photocopy of logbook and petrol bill which should be approved by your superior before debiting.

Note 3 ): Amount (Cv)is fixed and will be paid if driver is employed, moreover company does not employ Driver
