What are the reasons for higher attrition rate in construction sector?
From India, Pune
Construction sector is often unstructured, because you might have deficiencies in facilities, management infrastructure, etc.
Moreover, salary is a big factor. Con Ind causes a 'run-down' as people seem to 'age' quicker there... So, the idea is to make the quick buck before the work environment hits you (health wise).
Thirdly, market options are plentiful. So, the tendency to get an alternative is higher.
Fourthly, HR folks are often off-site! They need to be on-site and help the teams there... :-)
