Dear Seniors I want to know about the medical allowance. is it (Basic * 8.33% or Basic * 9.84%) please suggest me.
Dear Anuj
As per my concern it is a lump sum.
If the employee provides Medical prescription cash receipt and Medicine Bills, then he will get the tax exemption lest he has to pay the tax for that amount as like the telephone allowance.
With warm regards

Rs.1250/- per month is tax exempted subject to production of bills. No percentage is specified. Regards R.Ponraj
I wan to know about Medical remiburesment.
In My previous company Medical Allowance was the part of Salary and deducted the pf & ESIC. Medical ALLowance was =Basic salary*9.84%,
But in this company medical allowance is the part of Salary and does not deduct the PF & ESIC. Rembuirsement procedure =basic Salary*8.33%
Which is right , which is wrong
