Hi Everyone,
I work for a reputed insurance company in U.S as HR Manager. I have been asked by the director to start the biggest loser program to promote healthy lifestyle. I have been given few guidelines: it will start from jan 3rd 2011 and will end on april 15th 2011. there won't be any enrollment fee. they will be weighed-in every friday. following will be the incentives that they will receive. whoever loses more by % will receive $50 giftcard at end of jan, $50 gift card end of feb, $50 giftcard at the end of march and 1st prize winner will get $150gift card on april 15th and 2nd prize winner will get $50 gift card. I have never hosted this program. Right now I am struggling with even sending the first introduction email. I want this email to be very professional, motivating and upto the point. So please guide me in composing this email and we will go from there. I have to send this email in next few hours so quick response is highly appreciated! Thanks!!

hi Melissa,
I am not an HR professional but i have some idea it might help
Health is Wealth- Program,
Considering the fact that health of the employees is foremost important for the company, as it would depict strength, activeness and ability to face challenges.
We have launched a program, where biggest loser would be the biggest gainer.
after that the details of the prizes can be provided.
please let me know it has helped.
thanks
