Hi Neha, The Salary Break up predominantly depends on the Salary Structure (Components) for the specific position which are again specific to company. Pls provide the Salary Components.

Neha, You would have your Appointment Letter which should carry your Salary Breakup as Annexure right. I guess that should help.

No,No Annexure is attached with my appointment letter,only this has been mentioned that my salary will be Rs 16,000/-per month (in hand).

:( I Can provide you the Salary Structure which is used in our concern, but that wouldnt work out in the company where yu are goin to produce it. Because your proof of employment should carry your ex company's seal or should be printed out in their Letter Head etc etc.
Kindly check with your HR if they can provide you with the payslip. And being in HR, I think you would have access to the paysheet. So why dont you check it out over there?

Hi Rohan,
The Calculation Goes like this.
Employee's Contribution = 12% of Basic; Entire Amount goes to PF Account
Employer's Contribution = 12% (8.33% to Family Pension Scheme, 3.67% to EPF and the remaining % for EDLI if the compnay provides for it.

thanks for your prompt reply but what i need to clarify is that EDLI CHARGES and EDLI
Administration charges and EPF charges i.e.0.5%,0.01% and 1.1% respectively would deduct on 6500 or 7500..

Rohan, To add on, the Employer’s contribution can be 12% of the Employee’s Basic or the Cieling of Rs. 6500 depending upon the initial contributions made

Ya i guess I answered to your query. Anythin wrt Employee's contribution would be taking into consideration his/her Basic. Employer's contribution can either be 6500 or the max basic of the employee, thts upto companies discretion but will again remain standard for all the employees throughout the company.

The "Basic" Amount with which you calculate the Employer's Contribution towards PF, that will remain the same for all calculations be it EPS, EDLI, Charges etc
Thats wat I told it is at company's discretion whether to choose Rs 6,500 or the employee's basic salary. Hope I answered.

Hi the salary break goes like this:
Basic= 50% of CTC (110,000)
HRA= 50% of Basic (55,000)
TRansport allowance=8400 (fixed)
Medical Allowance=9600 (fixed)
Special Allowance=23,800 (Remaining Balance)
PF (12% of Basic)= 13,200

However, now that you have decided to join elsewhere; don't let this hamper your progress. Also, please do not look for a 'fake' payslip. Just tell the TRUTH in the interview. I am sure they will understand.

Hii.......... If your salary is 16,000 Basic will be 50% of Gross salary PF will be 12.5% of basic and other allowances accrdg to your company policy. Regards, Aabha Kathait

In my opinion, you should not prepare a Pay slip of your own. Tell your new employer about the truth. The HR people sitting there would understand your situation. Being HR professionals we should discourage unethical practices.

we deduct deduct profesional tax rs 200/- and pay the cheque amt rs 24800/- Per month

We have got two certificate one is AP Profession tax payer registration certificate(FORM 1B) and AP Profession Tax Payer Enrollment Certificate (Form1C)
Kindly let me know the difference between these two.

Dont worry about the company where you would possible join. They wont insist you to provide ur pay slip. They just need a proof of your current pay and for this purpose, your appointment order consisting the CTC will do.

Hi Rohan,
You are asking for Employer side OR employee side?
If You are asking from employer side, it is right.
Otherwise you are asking from employee side Your EPF details as followed:
Employee Contribtion 12% on basic goes to E.P.F A/c No. 1
Employer Contribution 3.67% on basic also goes to E.P.F. A/c No.1
Employer Contribution 8.33% on basic(max.Rs.541) goes to E.P.S. A/c 10
(If the basic is more than Rs.6,500/- Rs.541 goes to A/c No.10 and remaining balance to be added to employer share E.P.F. amount Ex. Basic is Rs.7,500/- on this 8.33% is Rs.625/- in this Rs.541/- add to A/c No.10 and remaining balance Rs.84/- add to Employer E.P.F. share i.e. A/c No.1 )

This is wrong. The 8.33% in A/c No.10 should be calculated on Basic i.e., Rs. 7500/- which comes Rs. 624.75/-. Other calculation is Ok.

net pay = 15776
2 nd salary break up will be as under
basic .=(ctc/172)*100 = 10659
hra .=basic*20/100 = 2132
conv .=basic*20/100 = 2132
emplr pf .=basic*12/100 = 1279
bonus /exgretia =basic*20/100 = 2132 some company pay this in month mode
net pay = 15776
