thanks for your prompt reply but what i need to clarify is that EDLI CHARGES and EDLI
Administration charges and EPF charges i.e.0.5%,0.01% and 1.1% respectively would deduct on 6500 or 7500..

Rohan, To add on, the Employer’s contribution can be 12% of the Employee’s Basic or the Cieling of Rs. 6500 depending upon the initial contributions made

Ya i guess I answered to your query. Anythin wrt Employee's contribution would be taking into consideration his/her Basic. Employer's contribution can either be 6500 or the max basic of the employee, thts upto companies discretion but will again remain standard for all the employees throughout the company.

The "Basic" Amount with which you calculate the Employer's Contribution towards PF, that will remain the same for all calculations be it EPS, EDLI, Charges etc
Thats wat I told it is at company's discretion whether to choose Rs 6,500 or the employee's basic salary. Hope I answered.

Hi the salary break goes like this:
Basic= 50% of CTC (110,000)
HRA= 50% of Basic (55,000)
TRansport allowance=8400 (fixed)
Medical Allowance=9600 (fixed)
Special Allowance=23,800 (Remaining Balance)
PF (12% of Basic)= 13,200

I feel sad that in your company such things, as the ones you have mentioned, take place. It is a sad reality.
However, now that you have decided to join elsewhere; don't let this hamper your progress. Also, please do not look for a 'fake' payslip. Just tell the TRUTH in the interview. I am sure they will understand.

Thanx Raj Kumar sir...........I agree with you, but what if they willl not understand..........I am really fed up with what I am getting (fake commitments) in my company.I am really feeling bad that I am prmptng 2 prepare my own salary the longer I will continue in my company the more I will lose my chance to learn.............please suggest me :(

Hii.......... If your salary is 16,000 Basic will be 50% of Gross salary PF will be 12.5% of basic and other allowances accrdg to your company policy. Regards, Aabha Kathait

In my opinion, you should not prepare a Pay slip of your own. Tell your new employer about the truth. The HR people sitting there would understand your situation. Being HR professionals we should discourage unethical practices.
