Sir my organisation has 25 employees. break up of these employees are as under: a 12 are on deputationall are contibuting towards gpf b 8 are hired through contarctor contractor is covered under epf act 1952 c 4 are retiree of govt. reemployed age more than 60 years and are getting pension fron govt. department d 1 is cintingent workeron dc approved rates question my question is whether epf act 1952 is applicable in my case on the basis of facts given above.

Dear all the government of india has vide its notification dated 10.02.2016 has amended the epf & mp act1952 whereby it has now included banks which are not having any scheme of social security benefits of any nature. the notification has also come quietly with nothing being available on the official website of the public domain. even the epfo officials do not have any clue on the publication of any such notification. this is for all concerned. sincerely amit kumar

Hello if an employee has availed epf & he was unemployeed for certain months. then again he gets employed. can anyone tell me how much such unemployment period is acceptable by epf act 1952 so that his previous pf contributory period will be consider while calculating contributory service & he can get all benefits as per act? saurabh

As per act employers is to do contribution towards epf/pension fund.if not done it has to pay damages/penalty.my employerpsu says employee is to pay penalty/damages as also missing contributions.what is legal status? can anybody clarify please.abrol
