Rural Development is important for our country as majority of our population lives in the villages and due to pressure on land and shrinking livlihoods in the villages migration from rural areas to cities has assumed alarming proportions.Untill and unless we provide basic urban facilities in the rural areas we will not be able to stop this migration. To createw jobs in the rural areas we need to improve the infrastructure and and carry out rural development programmes to upgrade the skills of people to create more livlihood opportunities for them .

Hello Thirupathi,
India is a big village, above 70% of the area is village, India's development not depends on teh IT sector development, it is there in rural India.
- benefit from which program? you didn't give any detail.
-After my MBA, I have done PG Diploma in Rural Development. I have to be an entreprenuer to generate employment for atleast 100 people in my village.
