Hello seniors!!
Please help me out by letting me know that is it wrong to use terms like 'Net working Days' and 'Unauthorized Leave in a salary statement of a Pvt. Ltd. Company, if yes then why and if No, then how to justify it?????.
Please reply ,I have to make it clear to my seniors, who are not from HR background.
in anticipation.........

Neha,
You shall simplify the term by using "Total Working Days" & "Days Payable". Again you don't need to mention unauthorized leaves in salary slip, rather you can use "Leaves Taken" on a whole.

Hi Neha , You can use the below terms like total working days & Loss of Pay days instead of Net working days & Unauthorized Leave . ___ Thanks & Regards, Vani

Hi Neha I second what Vani told, the standard terms are "Total Working Days" and "Loss of Pay" Regards Sriram

Thank you all !!I agree with all of you but what is wrong in using these terms. Please make me understand, as it is a matter of debate in my professional circle. This is why I need to know.

Neha,
There is nothing wrong in using those ('Net working Days' and 'Unauthorized Leave') Terms , but these ("Total Working Days" and "Loss of Pay") are generally accepted and widely used terms globally. When your employees moves into an other company, it makes it easier for them understand and differentiate, rather than getting confused on the wrong words used.
As we all are moving towards a global outlook, its better we stick a common format and terms.
Hope it is clear in your side

See, they always say that positivity helps a great deal. Instead of indicating that an employee has leave of absence in negative numbers, one can be positive in indicating number of days worked.IIndicate in the pay slip Actual number of working days in a particular month
Minus wages deducted pro rata period of absence
Salary payable for so many number of days worked.
That is it.
